  • Air Guard War Vets go Outward Bound

    Members of the Maryland Air National Guard participated in a wilderness-based course run by the non-profit educational organization Outward Bound.

    Imagine voluntarily waking up at 4 a.m. in 18-degree weather and six inches of snow to hike through the desert with a group of strangers – strangers who would quickly become friends amongst the cacti and boulders.

    Towson, MD- Baltimore County Executive Jim Smith, 2nd District Councilman Kevin Kamenetz and public safety officials broke ground April 3rd for a new radio transmission tower that is part of a $57 million capital investment project to replace the County's aging public safety radio transmission network.
